Internet 3.0

Today we had a speaker, a professor from Washington D.C., to lecture to the computer science students about the internet 3.0. What is internet 3.0 you might ask? What it is in theory is simply. Basically, it’s revamping the already pre-existing internet 2.0. The main thing that make it different that what is already being used is the IP Address. When it comes to connecting to a network via wireless or via cable, a person will lose the IP address assigned to the computer initially once their computing devices moves from one location to the next. What internet 3.0 will do is it will have one IP address from one computer for a single network. Th is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. The good thing is security. A computer would no longer be a phantom when tying to locate it in a network. This is best for companies’ network. The bad thing is that when it come sto be that is trying to be a little sneaky or better yet just have some privacy (meaning leaving a distinct connection trail), it will be almost lost. This last statement of course is my option only.
Ja!
